Documentary about woman- and sisterhood and the daily confrontations that come with it.
Sisterhood is a film about being a woman today and the daily confrontations that come with it. Filmmaker Sophie Dros (King of the Cruise, Genderbende) talks in the film with four outspoken female contemporaries and a group of young girls. Together they discuss what it is like to be a Dutch woman today. They are universal stories – about dealing with expectations, discomforts, empathy, connection and desires, but also about fear, the need for confirmation, and losing control.
